History
CT Travel is a small coaching business based in the north east of England. The company deals with coaching holidays throughout Europe, and also does various private hire work in UK and on the continent.
The company was founded by Roland Dodd and the late Doreen Snaith in the early 1980's, both Mr Dodd and Mrs Snaith had worked in the industry for over 30 years before deciding to buy a single coach and become the first coach holiday specialist in the Tynedale area.
For the next 15 years they continued to work on their own gaining many satisfied customers, travelling to all the major destinations in the UK, Ireland and tours throughout Europe. In the mid 1990's Mr Dodd and Mrs Snaith were joined by Mr Dodd's Grandson, Stuart Tilley who became a partner and the company began to expand, buying more coaches, taking on extra work such as more private hire work and travelling to more destinations.
Recently, the company has expanded it's operation again, gaining more licenses, buying more coaches, employing more office staff and drivers as well as moving to larger premises.
Today, CT Travel is able to offer the tourist everything they need to fulfil all their group travel requirements as a package, from booking of hotels, flights, and ferry rides to providing an itinerary of what people would like to do whilst they are on their holiday destination.
